baltimore Train Info

For those who wish to travel from DC as a group on Wednesday, September 3rd, a skate leader will accompany guests on a train from DC Union Station. We will meet in front of the Main Hall of DC Union Station by 4:00 and catch the MARC (Maryland Area Rail Commuter) train which leaves promptly at 4:13.  (Do not wear your skates on the train!)

MARC tickets can be purchased here in advance but ticket machines are also available at Union Station to be purchased on the day of the skate. The cost for tickets is $9 dollars each way.

The last MARC train from Baltimore to DC leaves at 8:45 pm.  Those who want to spend more time in Baltimore should make independent transportation arrangements.  One option is a later train via Amtrak, but ticket availability for these trains is not guaranteed so please book sooner than later.
