[SkateDC] 2010 Skate Patrol Season - 04/24 - Reserve the Date - Volunteers Needed

If you are interested in teaching people to skate one Saturday per month between May - and October, please let me know.  We teach in Rock Creek Park, parking lot #6 from 12 Noon - 1:30 or 2 PM.

One Saturday/month is the most you will be booked for - unless you want more - that's 6 Saturday's - at the most.  

We'll be starting things off this year on Saturday April 24th with a "teach the teachers" clinic.  You will receive a "cheat sheet" which will give you all the basics so that you can teach a lesson to beginners.  Joe and I will also run through everything you need to know.  We teach the basics - how to fall, how to get up, skate, stop and turn.  You also have the option of leading a short skate from parking lots 6 to 10 and back.  

We will meet at the Nature Center on Sat. April 24th at 10:30 AM and teach y'all what you need to know to go out and teach others everything they need to know to stay safe.
