[SkateDC] Whither the Weather?

I'm glad the new Friday Night Skate route is getting some good reviews.  Sean and Bill contributed good ideas to that route.

I wish it was also receiving a good weather forecast.  Things can change between now and then (and especially in the Spring they often do), but right now it looks like the weather on Friday will be just short of miserable.  Rain is forecast along with unseasonably cool temperatures, factors not making me very excited to skate on Friday night.  For now all we can do is keep an eye on the forecast.  If it becomes necessary to cancel the Friday Night Skate, I will announce that decision as soon as it's made on the skate list and the WAR calendar.  This is just a heads up to let you know that's a pretty good possibility.

The Saturday Indian Head Trail Skate at least is forecast to be dry.  However, it is also forecast to be unseasonably cool with a high of 56.   If there's interest in doing the skate this Saturday (3/27/10) we'll go ahead.  If not, there's a possibility of rescheduling it to the following Saturday (4/3/10) when perhaps the weather will be nicer.  If you're interested in doing the skate on either of those days, please let me know.
