Sunday (6/13/10) Intermediate Skate, leaves the White House at 9 AM, led by George Marinkovich.

There are no hills to speak of on this easy skate.  There may be gentle slopes and grades but nothing that requires much braking, less braking in fact than a Friday Night Skate.  If you can do a Friday Night Skate you can do this skate.  The skate route is 10.8 miles long.  The pace will be -- you guessed it -- similar to a Friday Night Skate.

Highlights:  Sheridan Circle, House of the Temple, Logan Circle, Blagden Alley and Naylor Court, Secret Gardens in Chinatown, National Portrait Gallery, and Ford's Theatre,
