[SkateDC] on the subject of kudos

Thank you for your very nice words, Céline.  You are much too kind.

A
common affliction with which many Canadians suffer on a daily basis.
Alas, for them it's a losing battle.

Canadians are justly
renowned for being among the nicest people on earth, curling, and eating
poutine.  Sometimes all three at the same time!

And to judge
from the past Olympics, you're getting that hockey thing figured out
pretty well too.

As always, looking forward to skating with you
when you're down our way again.

Cheers,
George

P.S.  As
for the texts, don't worry, I'm not a good enough writer to make them
any shorter.  Ernest Hemingway I'm not.

Well, while we all are on the subject of kudos, (word
 I did not know before
I read it from you - 'cause my french
language -  I understood it is a
praising remark...):   Many
praising remarks to you, George, especially for
your chronicles.
They
are small gems of a beautiful literary flavour, they are a pleasure to
read,
full of lively and interesting details and humour.
You have a gift
to transform even the smallest event or point of view into a
journey
 of ideas and feelings !

I am too far from DC most of the time
unfortunately, but you keep on making
me feel connectd to the
wonderful world of WAR!

I hope you continue with your texts, and
PLEASE, don't make them any
shorter!

Happy skating!

Céline
