Thanks for the props, George. Official mileage is 82.9 miles,
which is close enough. I won't be quibbling with race officials about
it. It was extraordinarily difficult, but stayed out for all 24 hours
of the race.
Time now to rest up a bit. I intend to lead Sunday's advanced
skate as planned, though I won't go out of my way to make it extra
