Announcing an intermediate skate, leaving the White House at 11 am on Monday, July 5th.

The pace will be suitable to the heat and humidity, which is to say relaxed and laid back.  A 9.5 mile skate with one memorable uphill.  The downhills are nice and gentle.

Many people have Monday off as a holiday.  Parking restrictions are lifted in DC for the holiday.  Including the July 5th skate, it will have been possible to have skated more than 94 miles on WAR skates this weekend.  

Don't forget the three skates on offer today:

9 am, Sunday Intermediate
11 am, Sunday Advanced
7 pm 4th of July Fireworks skate

And yes, someone is planning to do all three skates today (but that's not me, I can only manage two today ;-)

The skate starts at 11 am, plenty of time for people recovering from a late night on July 4th, I hope.
