[SkateDC] Questions answered about February 5 meeting

   Hey all,

   Happy Monday!  I have received a couple of questions about the  
upcoming "membership" meeting.  I suspect that others may be thinking  
any of the questions that I have received, so I will answer them here.

   Q.  When (and where) is the meeting?

   A.  I made a typo in the body of the announcement.  The meeting is  
on Friday, February 5, at 7 pm, at Capital City Brewing Company, 11th  
& H Sts NW in Washington.

   Q.  Is this meeting for members or leaders?  And what is up with  
"membership" in quotes, anyway?

   A.  The meeting is for all skaters (or non-skaters) interested in  
the functioning of our group.  I put "membership" in quotes because we  
have no official membership dues.  The closest that we come to  
membership is selling T-shirts, which we will sell to all who want them.

   Q.  Who are the people responsible for things in WAR?

   A.  The people who make sure that things happen in WAR are:

   Head Skate Leader - George Marinkovich

   Treasurer - Susan Burgerman

   Maintainer of the web site - Carol Patch

   Hoster of the email list and website - Stephen Williams

   President - yours truly

   George, Susan, and I are willing to continue in current duties in  
2010.  Typing this reminds me that I have not asked Carol about this  
yet.  Apologies in advance for putting you on the spot.  Stephen  
appears to be willing to host the web site and email list.

   Q.  Oh, one more thing.  What's with the calendar?

   A.  The calendar does not support the year 2010.  We will be  
looking into solutions.
