[SkateDC] "Membership" Meeting remider

Forgot to emphasize that everyone is welcome, member and non-member alike.  In fact since we no longer have formal membership there's no real way to tell who's a member and who isn't.  So consider yourself a member.

We especially encourage new people to join us.  Even if you haven't had the opportunity to skate will us yet.  Without our skating paraphernalia on it can be difficult to pick out the skaters at Cap City.  If the lighting conditions are low enough we look more or less like regular people.  So, if you've never met any of us before, just ask the host or hostess at Cap City to show you to the skater's table.

Cheers,
George

Location:

Capitol City Brewing Company (Downtown Location)
entrance on H St. NW near intersection with 11th St. NW

Google Directions:  http://tinyurl.com/y8qznxy

Paid parking available in a large lot across 11th St (entrance at 9th St. & Eye St.).

And a special note to the cheeseparing*:

Those looking for
the closest free on-street parking to Cap City are advised to look
northeast of Massachusetts Ave.  Meters in this area *may* not need to be
fed after 6:30 PM and there *may* not be a 2 hour parking limitation.
For example, anything that is both east of 11th St. and north of L St,
should be unaffected by the recent change in the parking regulations.

Due to the new parking regulations, the area enclosed within the box described on this map
http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=3432789

is subject to a 2 hour parking limitation and rates of up to $2/hr for on-street parking.

Hope to see everyone there, especially those who couldn't make it on the earlier dates.

Cheers,
George
