I respectfully refute your assertion, George. It's not MBTP it's BWCD.
Some would add M (movies) but I'm a purist. Basics is basics.
Beer Wine Chips and Dip. Oh crap, I forgot P for Pizza. OK, so I would
submit it's BWCDP and sometimes M.
And speaking of the Donner Party, my favorite passage in the Clement
Moore tale, a complete change-up when he switches from iambic pentameter
to Moody Blues:
"As dry leaves before the wild hurricane fly,
When they meet with an obstacle, mount to the sky,
So up to the house-top the coursers they flew,
With the sleigh full of toys, and St. Nicholas too."
