Nicely done!

Not to get too sentimental, but I am reminded, watching this video in the middle of winter as a major snowstorm is about to bury us under more than a foot of snow, how much I really miss John Harvard's.  That was such a nice place!

Oh, and the skating looked pretty fun too.  But who were all those people?  You know, it's been years since I've skated with people so young.  

Makes me sorry I missed the skate.

But where were the hills?  Maybe they were edited out which doesn't seem likely.  Or they were missing from the original video, which seems more likely given the difficulty of filming while going downhill.

If I had to guess, it looks like the first hill would have been going down into Rock Creek Park, perhaps on Harvard St. from Adams Morgan.

The second hill I'm guessing was Embassy Loop (Belmont Rd.) though I'm only going by the fact that there are some scenes from Kalorama Heights (e.g., the Spanish steps) and Belmont is a fun way down from there.

Can anyone confirm (or refute) these guesses?

But if guys are going to compete with Gustavo Adolpho Martinez Hidalgo, well, you might want to acquire some additional names. Lincheng Xiu made some skate videos for us back in 2005. I tried out some automatic editing software and ended up with something that may amuse you. It looks kind of like one of Gustavo's skate videos.
