[SkateDC] Non-Sunday Parking Update

I've had very good luck with finding available free parking at N St and 25th St, NW at 6:30 pm.  There are very few cars parked there.  You should be able to find parking on any of the blue streets on the following map:  http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=3597112  Parking here is (at worst) about 7 blocks from Froggy Bottom Pub, so it's not too inconvenient if you do the after skate thing.  It's an easy 12 block skate to the White House down Pennsylvania Ave., you know, past all those empty spaces where you used to be able to park for longer than 2 hours ;-)

A lot of parking opens up at 6:30 pm on M St. and 23rd St. also in the West End neighborhood.

Bottom line:  free and worry-free (no 2 hour limit) parking is readily available just not as convenient as before.

Don't let the parking changes harsh your mellow.  Think how bad it would be if we were walking rather than skating.  Remember, skating well is the best revenge, or words to that effect.
