[SkateDC] IMPORTANT: Sunday Intermediate Skate (9/27/09) Start Time

Due to the wet road surfaces the 9 AM Sunday Intermediate Skate will start today at 11 AM.

The roads are wet now, but I believe the rain in DC is over for the day, and given three hours will have a very good opportunity to dry off by the time we start at 11 AM.

I'll be at the White House at 11 AM.  

If you want to check how dry it is before you come out to skate, take a look at the camera at 17th and Pennsylvania NW at this site:

There's a probability of rain forecast for Sunday morning, so it's possible that the Sunday Intermediate Skate will not be able to start at 9 AM as regularly scheduled due to the wet conditions.   However, rain is supposed to end early Sunday morning after which the rest of the day looks very nice.

I would like to do the Sunday Intermediate Skate tomorrow even if it means starting the skate at 11 AM (that is, the same time as the Advanced Skate).

I will keep an eye on the weather tomorrow morning and by 8 AM I will announce to this list whether the Sunday Intermediate Skate will start at 9 AM or 11 AM.
