On a glorious early Sunday morning, one skater made it to the White
House from home precisely at 9:00 am.  He had intended to make it to
Skate of the Union, but woke up a little late to get there for
pre-registration.  Noting that no one was there on skates, he went to
Caribou Coffee on the corner to get a drink containing the giver of
life that is caffeine.  Upon returning to the White House, he still
saw no one.  At 9:18, he left to check out the Nation's Triathlon on
the way home.

Distance skated was approximately 9 miles.
