The Sunday Intermediate Skate (10/11/09) will leave the White House at 9 AM.

This coming Sunday the Intermediate Skate will tour Skinny Houses in Georgetown and Arlington.  A route map and cue sheet will be forthcoming later today.

It will be the last Sunday Intermediate Skate that leaves the White House at 9 AM.  

START TIME CHANGE STARTING 10/18/09:

Sunday Intermediate Skates starting on 10/18/09 will leave at 11 AM until next spring.  

That is, the Sunday Intermediate and Advanced Skates will leave at the same time, namely 11 AM.   These will not be combined skates.  If participation dwindles during the colder weather we may have to institute combined skates at some point, but the plan for now is to continue separate Sunday intermediate and advanced skates for the foreseeable future.

This should make late-risers more likely to participate and should make
the temperatures a little warmer for those who do the skate.  Having the skates start at the same time will make it possible for people to do one of the skates on those rare occasions where we are unable to schedule a skate leader or the skate leader is unable to lead a skate.
