take 236 east thru annandale. Take te third right after the home depot
(corner of braddock road) on Cherokee. After passing 1st thru 8th street go
left on fairland, I am in the back left corner of the cul-de-sac.

<BR>Wow! At A2A there were nearly 20 DC skaters who took on the challenge to roll the Georgia countryside. I am hoping to keep the energy rolling through the winter and into spring so that next year we can attend lots of races and have 30 people at A2A next year. Those interested in speed or just wanting to improve their technique, skate control, and fun factor should come on out to our practices and you will be in for a real treat.

<BR>I believe in planning early, and I am psyched to make the WAR/NRGbars.com speed team a place where anyone interested in speed can have fun, improve, race, learn from others and build the local skating community. This said, I am hosting a big get together at my house next Thusday Nov. 1. It will be from 7-10pm at my house in Alexandria, directions to follow. Please BYOB so that we can kick back and enjoy the night, we will be ordering Pizza about 8pm so bring a few dollars if you want in.

<BR>At 7:15 pm we will roll tape first on a true skater classic film, a hand made video by Eddy Matzger, a chronicle of the 2000 year in skating and skate racing. Vinnie and lots of locals are shown on this heart pounding documentary of skate racing. Anyone who would like to watch the tape and enjoy good skater company is welcome. ***This video is not to be missed!*****
