<P><FONT size=4 style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: yellow">THIS IS A LONG & INFORMATIVE MESSAGE - PLEASE READ IT ALL. DIRECTIONS ARE INCLUDED HEREIN</FONT></P>
<P><FONT size=4>If you have not already done so, by Monday, 6/4/01, you MUST RSVP to <A href="mailto:warballot at yahoo.com">warballot at yahoo.com</A> with your name and any guest's name if you are attending the BBQ. On Tuesd</FONT><FONT size=4>ay, 6/5/01, we will publish the final RSVP list on the listserve before we submit it so that we you can check to see if your name is on it.</FONT></P>
<P align=left><FONT size=4 style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: white">After a combined Sunday skate, WAR's summer BBQ will be held at Ft. McNair located in S.W. Washington, D.C. The BBQ is a <U>non-skating</U> event (that means we will NOT be skating to the BBQ) open to members and non-members alike. </FONT><FONT size=4 style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: white">Here are the details.</FONT><BR></P><BR>
<P><FONT size=4 style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: springgreen">Cost:<FONT style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: white"> </FONT></FONT><FONT size=4 style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: white">Members: $0.00 </FONT><FONT size=4>Nonmembers: $5.00</FONT></P>
<P><FONT size=4>(If you are not a WAR member you can join that day and save $5 as well as get a shirt as well)</FONT></P>
<P><FONT size=4><FONT size=4>The facility has a swimming pool. If you want to use the pool, you must pay the $2.00 that the base charges.</FONT></FONT></P>
<P align=left><FONT size=4>WAR will be providing burgers, dogs, chicken, beer, wine, soda, condiments, etc. For vegetarians we will also have veggie burgers. </FONT></P>
<P align=left><FONT size=4 style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: yellow">We are asking people to bring the following items - please respond with what you can bring:</FONT></P>
<P align=left><FONT size=4>Pretzels (two bags)</FONT></P>
<P align=left><FONT size=4>Potato Chips (two bags)</FONT></P>
<P align=left><FONT size=4>Tortilla Chips (two bags)</FONT></P>
<P align=left><FONT size=4>Enough salsa for the chips (two jars)</FONT></P>
<P align=left><FONT size=4>Brownies (Donations from 3 people)</FONT></P>

<P align=left><FONT size=4>Any other sweets or goodies you would like to bring.</FONT></P>
<P align=left><FONT size=4>A Boom Box for Music - everyone can bring their favorite music.</FONT></P>

<P align=left><FONT size=4 style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: white">As you can tell by its name, Ft. McNair is a military installation. Therefore, by Tuesday, June 5 we <U>MUST</U> provide them with a list of people who will be attending. Your name must appear on our list or else the guards at the base will not let you enter. Therefore, if you want to attend then <U>YOU MUST RSVP.</U></FONT></P>

<P align=left><FONT size=4>Ft. McNair is located in Southwest, D.C. near the waterfront. The address is 262 3rd Street, S.W.</FONT></P>
<P align=left><FONT size=4>These directions are from the White House:</FONT></P>
<P align=left><FONT size=4>Take Penn. Ave., N.W. east towards the Capital. Turn right onto 7th Street, N.W. Take 7th Street, N.W. south across the mall. Once across the mall 7th Street, N.W. turns into 7th Street, S.W.</FONT></P>
<P align=left><FONT size=4>Stay on 7th Street, S.W. south to Maine Ave, S.W. Make a left on Maine Ave., S.W. Maine will then turn into M Street, S.W.</FONT></P>
<P align=left><FONT size=4>From M. Street, S.W., make a right on to 4th Street, S.W. At the end of 4th Street, S.W., make a left on P Street, S.W. Proceed a short distance on P Street, S.W. and the entrance for the base will be on the right side.</FONT></P>
