It's been brought to my calendar-challenged attention that this is the same weekend as Philly Free Skate.

As luck would have it, the pool at the event hotel is open this year...

First Annual Marshall Brown Memorial Chicken Fight*, anyone?

*Just to put your mind at rest (and to avoid unwelcome attention from PETA), no chickens are harmed in a Chicken Fight (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chicken_fight).  In fact, chickens, while not generally celebrated for their intellectual acumen, are nonetheless much too smart to willing participate in a Chicken Fight.

Line).

The event is $10, with all profit going to Marshall's
Scholarship Fund. Participate in both this AND the Backyard Bash and
get $5 off your Backyard Bash ticket!
