[SkateDC] Green Building EcoTour By Bike (or Skates) Saturday (5/30/09)

Intrepid skater and Green Building aficionado Patricia has received permission to join this tour on her skates.  Other skaters (or bikers) are welcome, but reservations are required (see below).  Also, please bring shoes as you will be entering some of the buildings.  This is part of the Walking Town, DC thing.

 Drury on a tour of local LEED (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design) certified green buildings to learn about simple yet effective actions to reduce energy consumption and climate change emissions; improve the quality of air, water and land; and utilize green building principles. Presented by Wholeness for Humanity, Friends of the Earth, DC Department of Environment and Office of Planning.
