[SkateDC] SkateDC Weekend shout-out to DC skaters

Thanks to a bunch of DC skaters, SkateDC Weekend 2009 went off as well  
as it possibly could, considering the weather.  We got spritzed a  
couple of times on Saturday, but it didn't dampen anyone's good time.   
 From what I heard, our guests enjoyed this weekend A LOT.

There are a bunch of local folks to acknowledge.  In no particular  
order, a big thank you to:

-George for organizing skate leaders, playing host on Friday, getting  
supplies for Saturday's water stop, and sweeping Friday and Saturday

-Emily for playing hostess, getting supplies for the water stop, and  
sweeping Friday and Saturday, and doing the train portion of  
Saturday's skate

-Susan for getting the hotel, writing handouts for our guests, and  
soliciting volunteers

-A big thank-you to Paul Froyd for buying tickets for Saturday's water taxi

-Bill English for providing a cooler, leading the late Friday skate,  
and sweeping on Saturday

-Tom & MyeongHee for meeting guests Friday, bringing coolers, and  
sweeping on Saturday

-Jeffrey D. for volunteering for Saturday and Sunday afternoon skates

-David Churchill for volunteering to lead Friday and Sunday morning

-David Hunter for assisting with Saturday's skate

-Tony for assisting with Saturday's skate

-Shawn Brown for playing host on Friday

-Kent Gunlicks for getting '09 T-shirts printed fast bringing them to Froggy

-all of the rest of you for coming out and showing our friends a good time!

If I missed anyone, my deepest regrets.

It will be great to have a break from planning, but let's do this  
again next year!
