[SkateDC] Atlas shrugs

As many of you know, I have a home project that has been going on for
some time - long enough that I hear it's a running joke amongst some  
of you.  As many of you know, I have many things going on, which  
contributes mightily to this condition.  Fair enough.

Well, recent events have led me to look at everything I have going on.
   As part of this process, something has dawned on me.  The same
people from whom I get crap about my home project, whether directly or
indirectly, are among those who benefit directly from some of my other
time-sucking activities, like leading skates and other work behind the
scenes to run the skate club.

When someone is riding you AND giving you crap for something caused by
the ride you give them, it is time to stop the ride.

Now I am probably the cause of this more than anyone else, but I must
fix it in a way that makes sense to me now.

I will be continuing as president of WAR (whatever that is worth), but
until my project at home is complete, the only things I will do for
the club are those that take no more time than typing and sending an
email.  Once my project is finished, I will be happy to assist as
before.

I can think of a list of two things to do off-hand that someone must do:
1. design, take orders for, and order T-shirts, based on the
discussion at the Winter Meeting;
2. lead skates on days when I am scheduled;

I hope for your sake that I am finished by SkateDC Weekend.
