[SkateDC] New Skate DC Weekend Saturday (5/2/09) Video

Another fascinating skate video from the very talented Gustavo Adolfo Martinez Hidalgo.  This one, entitled "2009 Skate DC Weekend, Washington DC (Day2)" explores the theme "Freedom Is Not Free." 

See DC through a different set of eyes. The video stars Carl Ford as Dwight Eisenhower, with a supporting cast of over 100 skaters.  There are times during the video where Gustavo actually makes it look like it was raining on Saturday, that couldn't have been easy to do ;-)

people played in its history and that of the World. A small token of
appreciation to thank the event coordinators who really went out of
their way "literally" to make it a memorable experience for us. We
crossed rivers, climbed mountains, skated across the state lines of DC,
Maryland and Virginia and visited many monuments in 2 days!"  -- Gustavo
