Skaters,
I am planning a skate route for tomorrow. I lead the Sunday Intermediate group, departing from 1600 Pennsylvania Ave by 9:15 and returning in time for the 11:00 Advanced Skate.
Included below is a cue sheet and map url for a slightly improved re-run of a route I used just once before. It has some steep hills, but it worked out pretty nicely last summer. It is only 8 miles so we will not have to hurry going up the hills. I will delete hills or add miles depending on the skill levels of the people who come out to skate.
Everyone who can deal happily with a Friday Monument Loop is encouraged to come along because I will change to an easier route if this turns out to be too hard.
It would also be great to have a few advanced skaters along, looking for a warm-up before the 11:00 skate.
Note the interesting diversity of opinions about this route from last year!

...we skated some new streets . All in all, a short, intense skate. Not bad.
