[SkateDC] The Wed Skate

Today's Wed skate was well attended given the temps.  The route  
"highlight" was skating down MT avenue for the first time in a while.   
FYI, pavement was MUCH worse than I remember and there was a ton of  
traffic.  At our final stop, one third of the skaters enjoyed a nice  
warm stop for chai tea and a visit to Union Station's lively and  
boisterous open-air Obama trinket bazaar, while the remaining skaters  
soldiered on.  "We" then finished the skate 30 mins ahead of  
schedule.  Congrats to all of the Wednesday polar bears that came out  
to skate.
