which isn't really a problem for watching the event on Jumbotron (anyone else sick of that word yet?) from the mall, we just need to stay west of 18th on the Lincoln side or try to squeeze up to Independence on the L'Enfant side.

  We can say with certainty that:

  -the neighborhoods with bus parking areas will be open to us;
  -the car-free area around the hard security zone may or may not be
  open, depending on lots of factors;
  -the hard security zone is not open to us.

  I also have it on deep background that there will be at least one
  closed-off road that will make our day.

  "The Democrats are the party that says government will make you
  smarter, taller,
  richer, and remove the crabgrass on your lawn. The Republicans are the party
  that says government doesn't work and then they get elected and prove it."
