[SkateDC] After-Skate Report, Sunday Intermediate, Dec 6, 2009

Even though the grass was covered with snow, the streets were in good shape and four people showed up to skate. With all the sunshine, it did not feel that cold outside. I was getting set to skate with Jeffrey on his favorite Spring Valley / American University route. Then just before our departure time, Celine & Soren came out. Jeffrey stuck with his Spring Valley plan, while the rest of us went to Takoma Park instead. For a while, I was looking forward to a warm-up and snack stop at Takoma Park. But when we arrived there, we were all so warm from the hill climbs that we did not want to go inside and get over-heated. So we stayed outside and ate a brownie from the outdoor farmer's market which is there every Sunday. On the way to Takoma Park we visited Meridian Hill Park and we shot some videos. On the way back we shot some more videos in the area of 3rd Street and Kansas Ave. If you want to see the videos, become my facebook friend, or wait until I get
