[SkateDC] PAC MANhattan Comes to DC [Off Topic... or is it?]

Actually, one of our skaters, who also happens to be a fellow member of the meetup group:  DC/MD/VA Adventures, is already signed up to do the skate-less version on Saturday, August 29, 2009.    I've yet to actually do anything sponsored by the DC/MD/VA Adventures group, but the sheer diversity of the things the group gets up to is impressive indeed:  from geocaching, to sailing, from SCUBA diving in Egypt,  to backpacking the "Dolly Sods."  If's fun just getting the announcements, though it often makes me feel like a lazy sloth by comparison.

I may happen to be skating inconspicuously in the area of the National Portrait Gallery that Saturday around noon to observe what may be observed and glean whatever experience may be gleaned.

Cheers,
George

A belief which leaves no place for doubt is not a belief; it is a
