Skaters,
I did a practice skate Tuesday night to make sure this route is a good one. This is the route we will be using on the Sunday Combined Skate. I want all the Friday Night skaters to feel comfortable with the route, so I avoided hills and bad pavement, and the distance from the White House to lunch at the Capitol City Brewing Company is only 9 miles.
I just edited the cue sheet (included below) to make some improvements, based on the practice skate. Will edit the google map later on to match the cue sheet.
If you are a fast advanced skater we want you to come along Sunday also. It is okay with me if you depart and re-enter the combined skate in search of greater hills, speed, and thrills. Just be sure you don't accidently lead away any newer skaters who should be sticking with the easier route. You can phone me if you have difficulty finding the main group after a departure.
Suggest you all bring a driver's license or some other official photo ID on the skate.
Bill

Perfect route for an Inaugural Skate, thanks Bill.
Let me know if you want the route posted on the WAR calendar.
The weather is looking very nice for Sunday: 62, mostly sunny, only 10% chance of rain.
Unless there are any other concerns, you might want to put it out to the whole skate list.
Thanks,
George

George, Carl, Andrew, Susan, and Danny,
I am sending a cue sheet plus a link to a google map for the April 5th Inaugural Sunday Skate. I tried to do a test-run of it on Friday night but the rain stopped me after a couple of miles. Will test it out Tuesday after work. This should be easy & short enough and I will fix any problem areas I find.
