Sat, 4   9:30 AM Shady Grove to White House Skate led by: George Marinkovich <skatewash@yahoo.com>
Please be ready to start skating at 9:30 AM.

My cell number is three-zero-one three-six-seven eight-three-seven-four.

RSVP if you're interested.

It's about 30 miles long and takes about 4 hours with breaks. There is an elevation loss of about 450 ft., but there are plenty of uphills along the way. The skate can be shortened to 20 miles by taking the metro from Bethesda back to wherever you came from.

Sun, 26   9 AM Sunday Intermediate Skate led by: Need a skate leader for this skate <skatewash@yahoo.com>
We currently have no scheduled skate leader for this skate. Unless someone wanting to lead the skate shows up it's my recommendation that the group follow the Friday Night Skate Route: Route with Hains Point (12 miles)

It is an intermediate level street skate of about 8-10 miles which finishes around 11 AM. This skate maintains a pace designed to be a workout for an average street skater. The terrain includes some moderate hills such as Capitol Hill and may include high-traffic areas such as Georgetown. There are several stops to regroup and before tricky turns.
