Sun, 13   11:00 AM and 1 PM 2003 Inaugural Skate Followed by Post-Inaugural-Skate Party led by: WAR
The winter is finally gone and it's time to put on those
skates!
The WAR Inaugural Skate and Party will be on Sunday, April 13.

We will meet at the White House at our normal 11:00 time. We'll
skate to Hains Point, Eastern Market, and Union Station.
We'll arrive at Froggy Bottom at around 1 pm. The pace will be
easy, though the skate is more challenging than the Friday route.

Once at Froggy, relax and enjoy pizza, beer, and soda. New and
renewing members will receive a raffle ticket for skate-related prizes. Admission is $10 for members and $15 for non-members. The party
is rain or shine, so if the weather is bad, come and party anyway!

Sat, 26   Noon Baltimore Charm City Skate led by: Andrew Baxley <baxlap@msn.com>
Washingtonians will commence our imposition of our superior culture upon the denizens and addicts of Charm City. After we have vanquished our hapless neighbors to the north and liberated them from their humdrum existences that they deign to call lives by way of our righteous and noble eight-wheeled ecstasy, we will descend upon Fells Point to partake of their quaint little cuisine. So be there and conquer!

Why doesn't anyone Skate in Baltimore?

Location: Across from the National Aquarium at Pratt and Gay. Park in a garage about two blocks north of Pratt on the left side of Gay that only costs $5.
