Eddy Matzger has a Skate Farm in Floyd, VA. That's about 280 miles southwest of DC. This week, Eddy will be conducting his world reknown skate workshop in and around this new facility in the hills of SW Virginia. Advance registration required. This is a 3 day session (May 16-18). There will also be two sessions in June and one in September. See http://www.skatefarm.com for details. Chesapeake Bay Asthma Ride and Inline Roll

For the third year in a row, the American Lung Association of MD has invited inline skaters to participate in the Chesapeake Bay Asthma Ride Bike Tour and Inline Roll, scheduled May 31 and June 1, 2008. BIG APPLE ROLL WEEKEND

The sixth annual Big Apple Roll Weekend (BAR) is an exciting weekend of group skates, adventures exploring and experiencing New York City on skates. Party with old friends, make new ones, feel the rush of skating the New York City streets. Enjoy the city's beautiful scenery, smooth pavement, rolling hills and fast straight-aways. Central Park is also the capital of dance skating where you can join the world's greatest skate dancers for a truly unique experience. A weekend to explore NY, party with friends, and feel the rush of NYC street skating. City skating, island hopping, beaches, parks, night life and of course our skates through Times Square.
